HOW IT STARTED

Royce Custom Works was founded by Dylan Royce, whose background spans construction, woodworking, mechanics, welding, fabrication, and hands-on problem-solving.

Growing up around the trades, Dylan developed an early interest in construction and working with his hands. He went on to study Construction Technology, including additional training in blueprint reading for new residential construction, before gaining professional experience in framing, CMU block, and masonry work.

It was through his time in construction that Dylan discovered a passion for woodworking, which led him to building and installing custom cabinetry throughout Los Angeles. Working on new homes and alongside a variety of skilled trades gave him a well-rounded understanding of how a home comes together, from the plans and structure to the finishing details.

Dylan later expanded his experience into custom van conversions, transforming vans into functional living spaces while further developing his skills in woodworking, fabrication, mechanics, and creative problem-solving.

After more than a decade of working across different trades and tackling everything from everyday repairs to complex custom projects, Dylan created Royce Custom Works around a simple idea: bring that versatility to homeowners who want one reliable company they can call for a wide range of projects.

That combination of hands-on experience, technical knowledge, and genuine curiosity for how things are built became the foundation of Royce Custom Works and continues to shape the standards behind the company today. Every project is approached with the same attention to detail, craftsmanship, and practical problem-solving that Dylan has developed throughout his career.
